Membership in the GLBT Affinity Group is open to all staff and volunteers in the YMCA movement who agree to support the Mission and priorities of the GLBT Affinity Group. 

Your membership can remain confidential. Your name will not be shared with anyone unless you mark your membership as "open."
After submitting your application, you should see the following statement:

"Your membership request has been sent.  You should receive confirmation email within a few days.  If not, please send us an email.  If you have marked your membership "confidential" your membership will remain confidential and will not be shared with anyone other than the executive steering committee. Thanks for joining the GLBT Affinity Group and we look forward to connecting with you soon."

All committees are currently seeking additional working members.  Fill out the following form to indicate your interest in volunteering.

There are three standing committees:

Resource Committee: works in identifying resources and tools to further the inclusion efforts for YMCAs and the movement.

Communications Committee: works with creating communication vehicles (newsletters, web site) to further educate and build awareness of the GLBT Affinity Group.

Membership Committee: works in building the affinity group of GLBT staff and allies and advocates in the movement.
